By creating an account, accessing, or using Setlist HQ, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Setlist HQ.
2. Intended Use
Setlist HQ is provided for managing band information, song libraries, gigs, rehearsals, venues, set lists, invitations, voting, public song lists, and related collaboration. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with other users or the service.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Providing accurate and current information
- Using a strong, unique password
4. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Create multiple accounts to abuse service resources
- Use automated systems (bots, scripts, scrapers) to access the service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, other accounts, or related systems
- Upload or store malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
- Sell, rent, or transfer your account to another party
- Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications
- Store or share content that infringes on intellectual property rights

5. Third-party services and streaming content
Setlist HQ may integrate with third-party services, including YouTube API Services, Spotify, Apple Music, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, analytics providers, and hosting or infrastructure providers. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
Setlist HQ uses YouTube API Services. By using Setlist HQ features that use YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Setlist HQ may use Spotify Platform features or Spotify Content, such as track metadata, cover art, links, and embedded previews. Spotify is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy and may directly enforce the provisions that relate to Spotify, Spotify Platform, Spotify Service, Spotify Content, or Spotify Personal Data.
You may not modify, create derivative works based on, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce the Spotify Platform, Spotify Service, or Spotify Content to source code or other human-perceivable form except to the extent applicable law prohibits this restriction. We make no warranties or representations on behalf of Spotify and disclaim implied warranties with respect to the Spotify Platform, Spotify Service, and Spotify Content, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Fair Use
We reserve the right to implement rate limits on uploads or other service features to prevent abuse and ensure fair access for all users. Excessive use that degrades service quality for others may result in account suspension.
7. Content Ownership
You retain all rights to the content you upload (band information, song lists, etc.). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, display, and back up your content solely for the purpose of providing, securing, and improving Setlist HQ.
You are responsible for the content you create, upload, save, or share through Setlist HQ, including ensuring that you have any rights needed to store or share that content. Third-party music metadata, links, embeds, and previews remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective providers.
8. Content Standards
You agree not to store or share content that is:
- Illegal, harmful, or promotes illegal activity
- Harassing, abusive, or threatening
- Contains malware or malicious code
- Violates the rights of others
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms of Use
- Engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior
- Pose a security risk to the service or other users
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
10. Subscriptions and billing
Paid features may require an active subscription. Prices, plan limits, and included features may change over time. Billing is processed by our payment provider, and your payment method may be charged according to the plan and billing interval you select.
11. Service Availability
We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to perform maintenance, updates, or temporarily suspend the service for technical reasons.
12. Data Backup
While we implement backup procedures, you are encouraged to maintain your own backups of important data.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Setlist HQ is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the service, by email, or by another reasonable method.
